About Dr. Steinberg

Frederick  Steinberg, D.D.S.

Dr. Steinberg received his B.A. and D.D.S. degrees with honors from New York University.  He was  enrolled in their Combined Degree Program  which  selected 20 students from the U.S.

Dr. Steinberg entered general private practice in 1981 after graduation, and it is notable that he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree at age 19 and his Doctorate at age 22.

Dr. Steinberg has pursued extensive continuing education since graduation, incuding the New York University Maxicourse in Implantology,  and obtaining a  State of New York Conscious Sedation Permit.  He is also a Certified Invisalign Provider.

In other areas of dentistry, Dr. Steinberg has studied widely with recognized leaders of the dental profession in the areas of  crowns, veneers, and cosmetic dentistry, Periodontics  (gum therapy), and Endodontics (Root canal), including travel to other states. Dr. Steinberg has received Certificates of Achievement from the New York State Dental Society for his post-graduate continuing education. There has been a career-long commitment to bringing a knowledge of diverse branches of dentistry to a central location.

Current and past memberships include the Northeast Society of Periodontists,  the New York and American Dental Associations, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation.

In one of Dr. Steinberg’s dental practices, he also had an in-house laboratory, where he  personally created custom crowns and veneers for patients right in the office setting.

Dr. Steinberg currently provides the usual  traditional dental services, but also many new and innovative procedures such as Zirconium crowns and Veneers, tooth bonding, implant procedures including same-day teeth, Invisalign,  and gum grafting. Dentally anxious patients can also be sedated. His practice was one of the earliest to incorporate an operating microscope to enhance minimally invasive and precise dentistry.

On a personal level, interests include artistic photography, exploring diverse geographic and cultural locations throughout the world such as the Rainforest, Africa, and  Galapogos Islands, and astronomy.
