Our Practice

21st Century Dentistry in a Changing World: from Dr. Steinberg

"I am amazed on a daily basis in the changes in our dental practice compared to when I was a graduating dentist in the early 1980's, reflecting changes in technology and society's attitudes all around us. Any particular day in the office may find us involved with computerized implant surgery, artistic veneering and bonding, invisible orthodontics (Invisalign), digital dentistry computer networks, high-tech root canal with microscopes, and recreating gum and bone lost with age and disease. Internet-based learning and sharing come from around the globe, in addition to meetings and seminars. Of course, like any great practice, we provide regular general dentistry services to our patients and families as well!"

Limiting Referrals

As a result of Dr. Steinberg's Continuing Ed  studies, we are able to offer the convenience and coordination of most phases of your dental work performed in-office. There is a reduced use of specialists and expensive consultations unless the dental condition merits it. We take a different approach than referring out all special procedures.

Suitability and Costs

Dr. Steinberg places considerable thought into your dental treatment plan. We rise to the occasion when great artistry and complexity is desired or called for,  but we offer straight-forward solutions where complexity is not needed nor desired. We listen and take cues from our discussions with you.

Cocoon of Comfort

Dr. Steinberg, hygienists, and staff create a cocoon of comfort and trust. Personalized and gentle  local anesthesia and for the very anxious, sedation plans are created. Movie glasses, headphones, and video monitors available to distract from the appointment. Dr. Steinberg has a NYS Conscious Sedation Permit, and Board Certified Anesthesiologists are available to us.

Uncompromising Safety

Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
